The Grace Card (Pt.1)

Our current series, as we continue in the Book of Romans, will be called The Grace Card. This morning we are exploring the contextual meanings of the word Grace. Our key text comes from Romans 1:5. (NASB)

• • to express gratitude or show appreciation to a human being

• • having positive social standing or reputation

...as CHARM/APPEAL

• • attractiveness, attention grabbing, awe-ness, stimulating or pleasing

...as a SYSTEM

• • a “system” or “way” instituted by God in which the RIGHTEOUSNESS required by GOD is OBTAINED and OFFERED as a FREE GIFT through FAITH in JESUS CHRIST ALONE.
